Order preview

Order preview is available all over iPacky. Both in the main iPacky screen, and in the iPacky Dashboard.

In the picking list overview it can look like this:

It’s a very useful functionality that lets you view the order with a lot of details such as scan log and order check events.

This is available everywhere where you can see the eye icon, or with an order number hyperlink (except for the Orders overview, where that link opens the order for checking).

The order preview works independent of whether the order has been fulfilled or not.

  • If the picking list for the order has been printed or order checked in iPacky, you will see the check log with information about when and who
  •  An order can have multiple check events
  • Edit the customer’s note If this has not been activated in Settings→Limitations→Deny edit customer’s note
  • The packers note can be edited
  • The shipping address can be edited. This will be written back to Shopify
  • You can add and remove tags from the order if this has been enabled in Settings→Options→Allow edit order tags in order preview
  • If the order has been checked in iPacky, and there are any deviations (such as manual scan etc) this will also be shown in this view
  • If there are any photos taken during the order check, there will be an image icon. By clicking on that, you will see the photos

If logged in through the iPacky Dashboard, and you have the role of Supervisor or higher:

  • You can click on the delete icon, and that check event will be deleted, and put into a deleted log. Useful if you want to check the order again for example. The deleted log can never be emptied, so you will always have a log of what happened to an order
  • The customer’s order note can be edited
  •  You can add and remove tags from the order
  • Override to allow edit scan quantity or enter SKU if this has been set to deny in Settings
