How do I use iPacky?

Picking items for the order

First, find the order. Either print out a picking list for single order or in batch. Viewing the order in iPacky saves paper, and gives more information than a picking list. Orders are locked if a picker is processing the order, so two pickers can’t work on the same order at the same time.

Next, pick order items. If using a picking lists, the items on the order must be checked manually. With iPacky on a mobile device, orders can be checked during the picking phase using a barcode scanner.

This can also be done in batches where iPacky can print out picking lists, or view it on screen, and summarize identical order items.

In iPacky you can set bin locations for each item. It will also sort them for an optimal picking route.

Checking items on the order

iPacky shows to packers all the information they need, including comments from the customer, internal order timeline notes and important order tags. Packing notes for individual products, such as packing instructions. Each order line shows the quantity ordered, SKU and product name, and, if available, it can also show a photo of the product.

Orders are completed by using a barcode scanner to scan products until it matches the quantity ordered for each order line. You can also click on the + button or click the edit scanned quantity icon. If the wrong product is scanned, the system will give an error message. The check is not completed until scanned items correctly match the ordered items.

Makes it possible to process bundles or packs that consist of several separate products.
Each product in the bundle must be scanned, ensuring nothing is missing.

Register serial/batch

iPacky can register serial and/or batch(lot) information of products on the order. This can be looked up later.

Improved information flow

iPacky will help you to improve the flow of information. Such as customer order notes, packers note, timeline notes and product notes.

Shipping labels will be printed when you have completed order checks.
