Connect Bundles to iPacky for powerful administration of kit/bundles
Many merchants want to offer kits/bundles. Shopify does not support this, so this is where Bundles.app/Simple Bundles come in.
iPacky has a simple support for kits/bundles called Virtual product, but we recommend using the Bundles.app, Simple Bundles, or the native Shopify bundles support.
These apps make it easy to set up kits/bundles with inventory adjustment.
The inventory of members in a bundle will be automatically updated, and the inventory of the bundle itself will be automatically adjusted. This means that it will stop customers from buying the bundle if there is not enough inventory in the products that makes up the bundle.
You can even set up what we call structures. This is a single multi-level hierarchy.
For example, if you have a product that you buy in boxes of a 100. Inside every 100 box, there are 10 boxes of 10 pieces each. This you want to sell in hundreds, tens and single pieces. These apps will take care of the inventory when these items are sold.
Another use case for this is that you might purchase bottles of 1 liter. You then use this 1 liter bottle to fill up 20 * 50ml bottles that you sell. You might even sell both 1 liter and 50ml bottles. These apps will make sure that this structure has the correct inventory levels.
And of course, iPacky connects to Bundles.app and Simple Bundles. These are a totally independent apps by other vendors.
If using the native Shopify bundles support, you must turn on Dashboard→Settings→Integrations→Connect to Shopify Bundles. This is very basic bundle support, and will only which bundle a product belongs to on the order check screen. Like it does in the order view in Shopify.
